A quick post about a small start up that I’m doing together with a friend.
This all started during my earlier journey about experimenting with objectives which, at one point in the story, included Craig as the mentor during our surf trip together. During that trip, we got talking about objectives and we decided to start up a business based on Craig’s woodworking and design. So we did a project lift off (a la Diana Larsen), set ourselves a really good objective to ‘In business by Dec 2020’. That included selling at least one piece of furniture and the customer being so happy with the product that they’d share their recent purchase with their friends.
I’m posting a link to the site: https://saltwood.io
I’m going to write further pieces about some experiments applying agile to hardware and about how setting a good objective was crucial.
